He is also an Honarary Visiting Surgeon to the Jagivan Ram Railway Hospital in Mumbai and to the Salgaonkar Medical Research Center in Goa. Dr Balsara specializes in Laparoscopic Surgery for Hiatus Hernia and Reflux Esophagitis, Gall Bladder Disease and Abdominal Wall Hernias. He also has a major interest in Laparoscopic Colo-Rectal Surgery. He heads a team of highly specialized consultants, comprising of Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Intensivists and Stoma Care Therapists.
